Slant Headstones
Slant headstones are cut perpendicular 2 inches from the bottom creating the appearance of a base attached to the slant headstone. This rough surface at the bottom insures that lawn maintenance equipment will not damage any of the polished areas of the slant headstone. These Slant Markers are like wedges on the ground. Slant headstones are usually 16 inches high. The back is vertical and the polished face is cut back at an angle from the built in base. This back can be engraved with the family name or words of endearment – something that adds a meaningful remembrance to the marker. The top can be flat, oval or a serpentine shape. Different styles of ceramic pictures can be attached to the slant marker as well.
